Dental implants are artificial roots made of titaniun that can be used to replace a single missing tooth, several teeth or a denture.

If you have one tooth missing, an implant can be put on that "space" without having the teeth next to it used to "anchor" a false tooth like it happens in the case of traditional fixed bridges.

Implants are prescribed depending on the patients needs and conditions.
