DEEP BLEACHING - Kor Bleaching - provides fantastic bleaching results. It is by far the best bleaching system that we can provide to our patients.
I
n our New York City cosmetic dental practice we provide several different types of tooth whitening (or bleaching) treatment that are tailored to our patients needs and affordability, and the most effective is Deep Bleaching.
DEEP BLEACHING is a combination of at home plus in office system. Even the most difficult teeth stains, such as the ones caused by tetracycline antibiotics, can be whiten significantly with Deep Bleaching, and the overall bleaching results are excellent.
Tooth whitening is a simple, non-invasive dental treatment used to change the color of natural tooth and is an ideal way to enhance the beauty of your smile.
Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of many patients, there are a number of ways to whiten teeth. The most popular method is using a home tooth whitening system that will whiten teeth dramatically. In our practice we prescribe home tooth whitening as well as in-office systems.
Tooth whitening does not work on fillings and crowns. After teeth are bleached, any old fillings and crowns need to be replaced if you want the restorations to match the bleached teeth.
If the bleaching treatment you have is at-home only or if it is the in-office type (Deep Bleaching), always periodic at home touch ups will be needed in order to maintain your whitened teth.
Reasons for tooth whitening:
-
Fluorosis (excessive fluoridation during tooth development).
-
Normal wear of outer tooth layer.
-
Stained teeth due to medications such as tetracycline.
-
Yellow, brown stained teeth
